Welcome to the BMTA - not to be confused with The British Motor Trade Association, although many of us do own motorcars to get to our gigs and to our next tennis match.

Formed in October 2004, the "Bristol Musicians' Tennis Association" has been created to give the unfit musicians of Bristol and their like-minded friends a chance to mend their ways. One of the benefits of membership is the BMTA Challenge Ladder - a quality based ranking system. This will give all members, from TOTAL BEGINNERS to GRAND SLAM CHAMPIONS the opportunity to play tennis regularly with players of a similar level and have something to aim for. All members will get the chance to play in the two, yearly BMTA Grand Slam Tournaments.

One of the benefits of the BMTA is its flexibilty - matches do not have to be played in specific places or at specific times. This system suits musicians down to the ground!

To find out more, have a look at the Frequently Asked Questions page. If you would like to become a member of the BMTA, please get in touch.
