Although BMSA matches can be played on any full size snooker table in the world, players are enouraged to join Rileys Snooker Club (open 24hrs and 365 days a year!).

Membership
 
It only costs £5 per year to be a member of Rileys Snooker Club. You need to join before 11pm on any day and will need some ID - just a credit card is enough.

Table Hire

It costs £5.95 per hour to play on the snooker tables - this can obviously be split between you and your opponent. There are also two match tables which are in their own private rooms. These are great as you wont be banging cues with anyone on the table next to you but they cost £6.95 per hour. Once on your table, you can stay there as long as you like and pay at the end. Tables can be booked in advance at no extra charge although this is rarely necessary unless you want to be sure you get on one of the two match tables.
 
Snooker cues are included in the cost of the table hire - although you can of course use your own if you have one.
 
Student Discount

There is a 25% discount for students with an NUS card but this does not apply for the match tables.
 

Parking Tip
 
Most (if not all) of the pay & display machines close to the club have a maximum stay of 2 hours. This can be very frustrating is you want to carry on playing snooker when your two hours are up.

Its probably best to avoid the machines and park for free further up Queens Road (to the left of Victoria Rooms as you face them) and the roads around there - near the famous Anders Olinder if you know him.
